Wfi generator
Thermal distillation is the most common method for obtaining water for injection (WFI).
Thermal distillation is the most common method for obtaining water for injection (WFI).
The columns are where the process of multi-pass evaporation and liquefication of the purified water takes place. As the process takes place under high temperatures, the method allows for absolute certainty that the generated WFI water is microbiologically pure.
P-line heat exchangers are used in WFI generators for pre-heating, regenerative heating, as well as final liquefaction of purified steam and cooling the generated water for injection.
