Business Development Manager
Location: Nowy Dwór Gdański
We are an established producer of heat exchangers with over 30 years of history and a significant foreign presence. Headquartered in Nowy Dwór Gdański, we manufacture innovative, energy-efficient devices and technologies that address important challenges around heat management in industrial processes. Due to expansion plans, we currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager, preferably with a technical sales background, to join our team at the HQ with the primary focus on supporting operations and developing sales in assigned markets. The markets have an established client base and good growth potential. A successful candidate will help to realize this growth. You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with business acumen who is results-driven and can work in an international environment.
About the role:
Being a part of the HEXONIC global sales team, you will cooperate closely with country managers from different markets. You will coordinate their local activity and monitor their performance. Together with them, you will be driving sales by developing relationships with existing customers and tapping into new business opportunities. This role is largely a client-facing position and will involve regular travel and appointments with the customers. The role reports directly to a European Sales Director.
Work collaboratively with country managers to grow and develop the existing customer base in line with business strategy.
Drive business development efforts across different market sectors and provide support for negotiations with clients.
Prepare business contracts, offers, analyses, and reports as required.
Achieve annual sales & margin targets across the assigned markets.
Provide expert knowledge of HEXONIC products and develop an understanding of customers’ business to influence their decision-making process.
Liaise with Marketing to craft and implement initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness.
Take part in trade shows and exhibitions.
Proactively identify the activity of competition that may impact business development.
University degree in business or technical science.
More than five years of experience in international sales, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
A commercial approach to business with the ability to quickly understand the company’s operations and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent English and other languages would be a plus.
Knowledge of Excel functionalities enabling efficient processing, analyzing, and presenting of data (pivot tables, lookup, logical, math, and text functions).
