Wind turbines are often equipped with a toothed mechanism (rotational movement transmission system) located between the rotor and the generator.
Equipping the system with the appropriate oil cooling systems will ensure its efficient operation.
In the transmission heat is generated by friction and stresses, therefore it is so important to keep the oil at a set range of operating temperatures, thus ensuring appropriate lubricity.
